About The Position

Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician to join an established practice in Urbana, Illinois. This role involves a blend of outpatient clinical practice with some inpatient work for consults, call, and vacation coverage. The physician will join a practice with 3 BC Physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers, with a call rotation of 1:4. There is an excellent opportunity to further develop specialty clinics in various areas of interest and expertise, and to engage in collaborative practice opportunities with the Wound Center, Bone Health and Osteoporosis Clinic, and with Orthopedics and Neurology. The position includes work on a 20-Bed Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, supported by a large Hospitalist program providing 24/7 support. There is also an opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.
