Physical Medicine and Rehab PM&R Physician Position with National Wound Physician Group. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, equipping you with the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week. Part-time opportunities are available. The practice involves physicians delivering modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, specifically Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit facilities within a 40-60 mile radius, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, followed by a 6-month wound care fellowship. This is a W2 employment contract.
