About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician (PM&R) for a position in Geneseo, NY. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekends. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified trainers and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The group provides physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship. Physicians are W2 employees and earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided during onboarding and for a 6-month wound care fellowship. The practice involves delivering modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings like Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds, visit 2-3 facilities per day, and treat approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is done in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. This is a mobile practice covering a 40-60 mile radius.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management.
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
