About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R) Physician for a position in Jackson, TN. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities. Physicians become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified trainers and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The practice involves bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states, with comprehensive physician-level training and a wound fellowship provided. W2 physicians can earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is included during onboarding, followed by a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Become an expert in wound management.
Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
