Physical Medicine and Rehab PM&R Physician Position with National Wound Physician Group. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, giving you all the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week. Paid Training is provided. The practice involves delivering modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting, specifically in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility. The role is mobile, with physicians visiting facilities in a 40-60 mile radius, seeing 2-3 facilities and approximately 20-30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is done at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship. This is a W2 employment contract.
