About The Position

The Physical Inspections Technician position is part of the Quality team. A technician will need to have basic understanding of print reading, GD&T, and metrology tools. They are responsible for running CMM programs, in addition to inspecting parts with manual inspection tools and adhering to all work instructions. Previous experience with CNC Machining in a manufacturing work environment is not required, but very helpful. Requirements

Basic understanding of print reading, GD&T, and metrology tools.
Experience in Manufacturing (Preferred)
Strong Work Ethic
An understanding of inspection/Metrology

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with CNC Machining in a manufacturing work environment is very helpful.

Responsibilities

Reports directly to the area Supervisor.
Run CMM Machines
Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
Monitors the process and outputs to ensure part quality.
Completes work orders, inspection documentation, and daily preventative maintenance sheets.
Promote health and safety of self and co-workers.
Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the AS9100 Quality Management Systems (QMS).
