About The Position
Staunton High School is seeking applications for a Physical Education Teaching position for the 2026-27 school year. This position is open until filled. The start date is late July 2026. Salary is based on the 2025-26 Salary Scale, and a full benefits package is included. All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, employment reference check, and receipt of the Child Abuse and Neglect Training Certificate. Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education.
- Must possess or be eligible for a Virginia Collegiate Professional License or Postgraduate Professional License with the appropriate endorsement in K-12 Physical Education.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Successful completion of an employment reference check.
- Receipt of the Child Abuse and Neglect Training Certificate.
Nice To Haves
- Driver's Education endorsement is preferred.
