About The Position

This is a long-term substitute position for a Physical Education Teacher. The role involves providing an ideal, positive learning environment, instructing students in individual or group sessions, developing, translating, and integrating lesson plans, and establishing positive relationships. The position is specifically for Wednesdays only, from September 16, 2026, to May 26, 2027, with some TBD exclusion dates. The daily hours are 7.5.

Requirements

• Minnesota teaching license required
• Successful background check required
• Thorough knowledge of subject(s) taught
• Thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching
• Ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior
• Ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents
• Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty
