About The Position

Part-Time Physical Education Specialist Grades K-8 | Monday-Friday | 2:30PM-5:00PM At U1 Sports, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to develop confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of movement. We’re looking for an energetic and passionate Physical Education Specialist to join our growing team and lead engaging after-school physical education programs for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. This position is ideal for college students studying Physical Education, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, Health & Wellness, Recreation, or related fields who are looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience working with children while making a positive impact.

Requirements

• Current college student or recent graduate preferred.
• Pursuing a degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, Health & Wellness, Recreation, Education, or a related field.
• Passion for working with children and promoting healthy, active lifestyles.
• Energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous coaching, teaching, mentoring, camp, or youth sports experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, structured, and engaging physical education activities for students in grades K-8.
• Teach age-appropriate sports skills, fitness concepts, movement activities, and cooperative games.
• Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and healthy habits.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where every child feels successful.
• Adapt activities to accommodate different ages, skill levels, and abilities.
• Set up and organize equipment while maintaining a safe activity space.
• Serve as a positive role model and mentor for students.
