About The Position

This role will be onsite at our Columbus, OH office, or can be filled in other corporate locations. Summary: As Huntington executes our Retail Banking Long-range Plan and positions the company for growth through market and geographic expansion, we must ensure that our physical spaces meet the evolving needs of our customers, colleagues and communities. The Physical Channels Innovation Product Manager is at the forefront of this strategy. The individual will be responsible for identifying new capabilities that support the bank’s business objectives of delivering Category of One Customer Experiences, being known for personalized advice, and growing through improved execution and thoughtful investments. They will lead initiatives through all phases of the project delivery lifecycle, beginning with ideation to business case approval to User Acceptance Testing and ultimately to Pilot and implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business, economics or finance
  • 5+ years of related experience in financial services strategy, product management, innovation, CX

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and research industry trends, technology innovations and competitor operating models to inform Huntington’s Physical Channels strategy.
  • Quickly identify the most critical areas of need/opportunity and participate in project prioritization.
  • Assess technology innovations, lead vendor evaluations and manage third-party partnerships.
  • Develop financial business cases illustrating investment and return for specific initiatives.
  • Create scopes of work and detailed business requirements for internal and external technology initiatives.
  • Adopt a Test & Learn discipline where we learn quickly and adapt strategies as needed - "steward" of an Innovation Lab where we experience concepts early in the development process.
  • Continue the development of the Project Genesis concept and successfully launch the new channel.
  • Partner with Marketing to deliver industry-leading capabilities leveraging AI and other technologies to enhance the Genesis experience.
  • Support creation of CEO and Board-level executive communications articulating the Physical Channels Innovation roadmap and capabilities.
