About The Position

Cyberhawk is seeking an experienced PHP Laravel Developer for a 9-month contract to work on their cloud-based application. This is a fully remote opportunity, but candidates must reside within +/- 3 hours of GMT (UK time) to facilitate team communication. Cyberhawk combines expert drone inspection services with its iHawk aerial data management platform to deliver insights for energy and large capital project clients, aiming to enhance safety, improve decision-making, and reduce carbon footprints.

Requirements

• Experienced PHP Laravel Developer.
• Understanding of Front-end technologies.
• Understanding and adherence to agile delivery processes.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership, responsibility, and pride in work.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Confidence in embracing and leveraging AI.
• Must live +/- 3 hours from GMT (UK time).

Nice To Haves

• Experience across the full tech stack including JavaScript, React, React Native, SQL (MySQL and MariaDB), AWS, Azure, Docker, Git & Git Actions, GitHub Copilot, AWS SQS, MapBox, and 3D visualisation with ThreeJS and Cesium.
• Experience with Microservices, Security, Scalability, Usability, Cloud Native, Performance, CI/CD.
• Experience with User Centred Design.
