About The Position

MailerLite is one of the fastest-growing email marketing services, helping over 1 million businesses worldwide. We are a team of over 170 passionate individuals and are looking for a talented PHP engineer to maintain and implement new features across our products. Requirements

4+ years of experience with PHP, JavaScript and HTML
Comfortable with large codebases as well as the latest tools and technologies
Experience with at least one of these frameworks: VueJS, React or AngularJS (we use VueJS)
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Ability to write and optimize complex queries in SQL
Knowledge of Redis and queues
Can work across codebases and platforms
Ability to write clean code with test coverage
Ability to build scalable applications
Self-starter with an investigative mindset for thinking out of the box
Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
A sense of personal responsibility
You're based in the EMEA or Central Asia

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with other languages is a plus (NodeJS, Golang, Ruby)
Knowledge of any PHP framework is a plus (we mostly use Laravel)
Familiarity with ElasticSearch is a plus

Maintain our existing codebase that serves hundreds of thousands of users daily
Implement new features with an focus on delivering impact and value to our users

Yearly gross salary range: $60,000-$75,000
