About The Position

This is a full-time, 4-month cooperative education position for students pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. The role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, from September to December 2026. The position is within the Nokia Optical Network group, which focuses on creating Intelligent Transport Networks using advanced Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs). The specific team develops and implements PIC characterization algorithms and methodologies, and establishes high volume manufacturing test capabilities.

Requirements

  • Currently a candidate for a Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field at an accredited school in the US.
