About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position for University of North Dakota (UND) students. The role involves designing, laying out, characterizing, and analyzing photonic devices and/or circuits, as well as contributing to research publications. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Python
• Ansys Lumerical
• gdsfactory/IPKISS
• Device characterization experience
• Device fabrication experience.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
• Verification of identity and eligibility to work in the US and completion of employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Design, layout, characterization, data analysis of photonic devices and/or circuits.
• Research publication.
• Other duties as assigned.
