Photon Faculty Medical Physicist in Radiation Oncology
About The Position
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is seeking a board-certified photon faculty medical physicist for the Division of Medical Physics within the Department of Radiation Oncology. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in academic and clinical productivity, including clinical practice, project participation, collaboration, leadership, research, and educational service. A proven ability to lead groups or projects is highly desirable. The role involves comprehensive clinical coverage and QA for photon therapy procedures, participation in educational activities, and consistent publication of peer-reviewed research. The candidate will also be expected to submit a research proposal outlining their interests, goals, qualifications, funding potential, and vision for collaboration. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in MR simulation and advanced MR applications in radiotherapy.
Requirements
- Board-certified Ph.D.
- Board eligible Ph.D. graduates from a CAMPEP accredited residency program with experience in MR-Linacs and MR-Based online adaptive radiotherapy will also be considered.
