About The Position

Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment used in the photolithography area of semi-conductor manufacturing process like Tel ACT 8 Coat/Developer Track and ASML steppers. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. Perform equipment modifications as necessary. Develop improvements to increase reliability of older equipment and increase performance of newer equipment. Working closely with process engineering to support current production and achieve new development design tasks.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience maintaining photolithography equipment like Steppers, preferably ASML and coat/develop tracks like Tel ACT8.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience working with photo-chemicals like resists, solvents and developers
  • 2 years of experience with projection optics, high-precision stages, or automated wafer handling robotics.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting photolithography, robotics, UV, electrical, and software systems, ideally down to the component level.
  • Ability to work in a yellow-light cleanroom environment wearing full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds and may require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing
  • Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of preventative and corrective maintenance activities for the photolithography process area
  • Collect data and perform analysis of required work
  • Identify technical problems and implement solutions as appropriate
  • Collaborating with team members on complex equipment issues to minimize equipment downtime
  • Troubleshooting problems
  • Maintain records and reports as required.
  • Ownership of PM schedule, checklists and open items for the area
  • In charge of equipment related vendor engagement for the area
  • Order and install parts
  • Respond to emergency service calls as required
  • Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed
  • Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company provided tools, equipment, etc.
  • Responsible for following proper industry safety procedures when working with potentially dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, high voltage/high current, moving mechanical parts, high pressure gases, hazardous gases, radiation, etc.
  • Must maintain personal and professional standards of conduct
