About The Position
CCX Media is seeking a freelance Photojournalist who will shoot and edit stories for broadcast and for the web on a part-time, as-needed basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field
- 2-4 years’ experience as a content generator
- Fluency in English
- Possess excellent interview and conversational writing skills
- Proficiency with Final Cut Pro
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, and other office equipment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Sony PXW-X400 a plus
Responsibilities
- Works independently and as a team to capture and edit video
- Shoots and edits news events on deadline
- Maintains good working relationships with local sources, schools and cities
- Ensures that all content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality
