About The Position

The Union Sports & Entertainment Internship Program offers a hands-on learning experience within one of Major League Soccer’s most dynamic organizations. Interns play an active role in daily operations and gain valuable insight into how a professional sports organization functions both on and off the field. Throughout the program, interns work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Whether supporting matchday operations, marketing campaigns, or community events, every intern has the opportunity to make an impact. The internship will last 10-12 weeks and is part-time (approximately 20 hours per week). The pay is PA minimum wage which is $7.25/hour and only in-person work is offered. We are located in Chester, PA so before applying, ensure you can easily commute to this location. Interns may be asked to work some nights and weekends. Requirements

  • Strong passion for sports and interest in gaining hands-on experience in the industry
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for Union home matches and special events

Responsibilities

  • Content Capture – be the main photographer for Union II match days.
  • Supportive Content – capture roaming and defensive plays for first team home matches.
  • Edit Content – execute editing for all photographs taken during first team match in a timely manner.
  • Archive Footage – organize and tag photos on ScorePlay for easy storage and organization.
  • Event Executive – photograph events for varying office departments as needed.
  • Network – attend weekly coffee talks with company leaders, connect with front office employees, and work on intern-led group projects with a presentation at the conclusion of the program.
  • Other duties as assigned.
