About The Position

Purpose Brands 414 (PB414) is a faith-based nonprofit organization that creates and stewards redemptive initiatives where people experience dignity, hope, and the love of Jesus. Its initiatives include Beautiful Lives Thrift Boutique, Bold Lives Men's Thrift, and Thrift Out. The organization aims to help every person flourish in relationship with Jesus and uses its initiatives to meet tangible needs, restore communities, develop leaders, and steward resources for lasting Kingdom impact. The Photography Intern captures weekly collections for Beautiful Lives Thrift Boutique and occasionally Bold Lives Men's Thrift, helping shoppers discover secondhand items and connecting the community to the mission behind each purchase. The internship is intended for students studying photography, graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism, or fashion merchandising, and others pursuing fashion, product, or commercial photography or content creation. Photoshoots, including modeled collections and flat lays, take place in person at the Purpose Hub. Shoot scheduling, model coordination, and photo editing may be completed remotely. The commitment is approximately 6–8 hours per week on a flexible schedule, with weekly shoot dates coordinated with volunteer models. The start date is to be confirmed, with exact dates coordinated upon acceptance of an offer. This is an unpaid internship reporting to the Social Media Manager. Interns can build a portfolio of published fashion and product photography; gain hands-on experience with models, product and flat lay photography, and styling; learn professional editing workflows and visual consistency; and understand photography’s role in social media strategy, engagement, and sales. They may run shoots from scheduling and model coordination through styling, shooting, editing, and delivery, and may have opportunities to lead projects in a supportive, mentoring environment. Additional learning opportunities include critical thinking, problem-solving, professional communication, spiritual formation, personal development, and exposure to an EOS-run workplace. Interns receive all benefits of PB414 volunteers.
