About The Position

Goldin is seeking a Photographer to join our Warehouse Incubation Team. This team is a small, agile group that pilots new operational initiatives within the organization. The Photographer will be a collaborative team member responsible for all photography-related projects and will also be versatile in cataloguing, shipping, and inventory management functions. This role requires someone who works well independently and as part of a team, and is eager to contribute to an emerging division of the company. The team's mission is to ensure new verticals and processes are fully developed, tested, and refined before integration into daily operations, enabling concurrent project launches while supporting auction readiness.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of photographic studio equipment and software such as DSLR cameras, lighting, backdrops, camera transmitters/receivers, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn warehouse processes and the collectibles industry.
  • Strong project problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet hard deadlines (Overtime needed depending on auction cycle).

Nice To Haves

  • Certification and/or Degree in Digital Photography OR at least 1-2 years of professional experience in Product/E-Commerce Photography required.
  • 1+ year of warehouse experience (shipping, sorting, picking, cataloguing) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the collectibles space in (sports, TCG, pop culture, etc.) preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift at least 30-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all items are photographed and/or scanned using the work instruction guide in priority order respective to auction schedule and per our SOPs.
  • Apply proper presets to all images to visually enhance quality.
  • Batch crop and/or silhouette each background pure white and save all images as PDS and JPEG.
  • Upload JPEG images to auction platform site in a consistent manner while saving digital archives for interdepartmental use and record keeping/inventory control.
  • Work cross-functionally and collaborate with other operations departments to ensure auctions are launched.
  • Catalog inventory with detailed titles and key attributes that pertain to filters on our platforms.
  • Store, putaway, and maintain organized storage areas for inventory accuracy and accessibility; assist with shipping when necessary.
  • Own individual projects while adapting daily to changing tasks and priorities, contributing to all warehouse operations as needed.
  • Assist with developing and improving standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, stowing, cataloguing and shipping.
  • Support testing or pilot programs for new tools, systems, or operational workflows in the incubation environment.
