About The Position

We are seeking a talented and versatile Part-Time Contractor to join our team as a Photographer/Photo Re-toucher. This role involves capturing high-resolution studio shots of our product line, including tabletop, macro, and hero images. You will also be responsible for lifestyle photography, scouting outdoor locations, managing natural light, and directing talent to create authentic content. A key part of this role is post-production, including retouching, color correction, and cropping using Adobe Creative Cloud, with a strong emphasis on Photoshop skills. You will also manage and organize final files in our digital asset management system.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in both controlled studio product photography and dynamic outdoor lifestyle photography.
• Expert knowledge of DSLR/Mirrorless camera systems, manual settings, and various focal lengths.
• Experience working with strobe or continuous studio lighting.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Lightroom and Photoshop).
• Ability to manage your 20-hour week efficiently, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Ownership of a professional-grade DSLR or Mirrorless camera body and a versatile set of lenses (e.g., 35mm, 50mm, or 85mm primes and a macro lens).

Nice To Haves

• Photoshop skill highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-resolution studio shots of our product line, including tabletop photography, macro shots, and "hero" images.
• Capture products "in the wild" through lifestyle photography, including scouting local outdoor locations, managing natural light, and directing talent.
• Utilize in-house lighting equipment to create consistent, brand-aligned aesthetics.
• Perform basic retouching, color correction, and cropping to ensure all assets meet brand standards.
• Organize and upload final files to our digital asset management system according to established naming conventions.
