About The Position

Turn5 is one of the largest and fastest-growing e-commerce retailers in the Greater Philadelphia area, known for its award-winning platforms like AmericanMuscle.com, ExtremeTerrain.com, and AmericanTrucks.com. Since 2004, Turn5 has engaged automotive enthusiasts with products, services, and experiences, expanding its catalog with the acquisition of Eckler’s in 2022 to include classic car restoration and modification products. The company is committed to creating meaningful customer experiences through unique products, educational videos, and user-generated content. The Photographer, under the supervision of the Photo and Video Department Management Team, is responsible for successfully photographing all off-car products for Turn5’s websites. This role requires maximizing production through product research, photography, and maintaining studio organization and cleanliness in the photo production area. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and capable of consistently completing tasks, ensuring proper exposure, lighting combinations, color balance, and focus in all photos, consistent with Turn5 photo standards, with limited assistance or supervision. This is a temporary position expected to run for 9 months.

Requirements

  • Experience and understanding of CaptureOne, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Bridge.
  • Experience with digital SLR cameras.
  • Experience with strobe photography.
  • Must have experience shooting on a camera stand, tripod, and hand-held.

Responsibilities

  • Shoot high volume of products, following all Turn5 photo Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Responsible for palletizing product to be sent to on-car studio in PA.
  • Responsible for shooting automation utilizing the software and wheel automation equipment.
  • Must be able to style/prop products for off-car shoots.
  • Open and re-package products efficiently.
  • Utilize warehouse systems to maintain proper inventory standards.
  • Collaborate with Photographers and Product Management teams during shoots, as necessary.
  • Maintains clean working photo sets.
  • Must have excellent time management skills and be able to deliver quality photos in line with floor metrics.
  • Willing to assist Photo department with additional tasks, as assigned.
