About The Position

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Photographer and Editor to join our team. This role involves shooting and editing news stories, special assignments, and series, as well as providing content for social media platforms. The position also includes setting up Live U equipment, assisting with video editing for newscasts, operating and maintaining news vehicles and equipment, and potentially uploading content to the station's website. Travel for special assignments may be required.

Able to work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends and evenings, as well as during inclement weather such as Hurricanes.

Responsibilities

Shooting and editing assigned and breaking news stories using ENG camera and non-linear editing equipment, with or without reporter.
Shooting and editing special assignments and series as needed.
Providing pictures and short/snap videos from the field for Social Media platforms.
Setting up Live U equipment for Live Remote Shoots.
Assisting video editor/acquisitions in editing and preparing video for newscasts as assigned, using server-based editing and playback system.
Operating and maintaining news vehicles and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Performing routine maintenance and light troubleshooting on assigned equipment.
Uploading video, digital pictures, and copy to the station’s website.
Traveling for special assignments and coverage.
Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
