About The Position

The Photo Retoucher is a key creative role within the Skechers Global Marketing and Creative teams. This position is responsible for producing high-quality, polished imagery used across brand campaigns, advertising, retail environments, packaging, catalogs, and other printed communications. The Photo Retoucher ensures all visuals meet Skechers’ high standards of accuracy, consistency, and brand expression, contributing directly to the look and feel of the company’s global marketing presence.

Requirements

Proven professional experience in high-end retouching within advertising, lifestyle photography, or related creative fields.
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop with strong command of compositing, masking, color grading, and detailed retouching techniques.
Strong understanding of color accuracy, lighting, textures, and visual consistency in large-format and high-resolution imagery.
Ability to work efficiently with large-scale files in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent visual judgment with a strong focus on detail, realism, and brand consistency.
Strong communication and collaboration skills within a creative team environment.

Responsibilities

Retouch and enhance high-resolution lifestyle and product photography for use in advertising, retail signage, catalogs, lookbooks, packaging, campaign assets, and a wide range of brand materials.
Perform advanced retouching including color correction, skin and fabric refinement, environmental cleanup, texture enhancement, and overall image polishing while maintaining natural, realistic, and on-brand results.
Execute complex compositing, masking, object removal, background reconstruction, and layout-driven image adjustments to meet creative and conceptual needs.
Prepare final imagery according to Skechers’ technical and creative specifications to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cohesive brand presentation across all outputs.
Work closely with photographers, art directors, designers, and production artists to uphold visual quality and ensure imagery aligns with creative direction and brand standards.
Maintain organized working files, builds, versions, and final assets in adherence with department workflows and asset management systems.
Manage multiple simultaneous projects, timelines, and priorities while maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail.
