The Wall Street Journal is seeking a Photo Editor to support WSJ. Magazine and the Features coverage area as needed in New York. WSJ. Magazine and Features blend deep reporting, intelligent wit and good taste to create compulsively readable spot stories, analysis and features on the subjects of style, entertainment, celebrity, society, lifestyle and the arts — with a fast-paced, robustly reported execution. We are looking for a photo editor with both a stylish sensibility and journalistic integrity who brings a background in style news or cultural features assigning and production. You must also have a digital, deadline-driven background and be able to work quickly and accurately on a range of subjects, collaborating with Features editors and reporters as well as non-staff writers and contributors. You should have experience with contemporary portraiture, reportage, conceptual still-life and have deep, expedient research skills.
