About The Position

The Phorum Engagement Manager – Technology Strategy role is based in the UK and involves occasional travel. This position focuses on shaping the future of biopharmaceutical manufacturing through collaboration. The role involves working with senior leaders from leading biopharmaceutical companies to help them gain value from collaboration and influence future technologies and strategies. The ideal candidate will enjoy building trusted relationships, creating commercial value, and helping customers achieve strategic outcomes. BioPhorum is a global collaboration community for the biopharmaceutical industry, uniting over 150 organizations to solve shared challenges. The Technology Strategy Phorum specifically brings together biomanufacturers, technology providers, and systems integrators to develop practical frameworks, guidance, and best practices for flexible, resilient, and sustainable manufacturing, faster speed to market, reduced costs, improved supply security, lower waste, and smarter adoption of emerging technologies. The role involves managing a portfolio of member organizations, ensuring they receive maximum value from their membership, identifying opportunities for deeper engagement, and supporting continued growth. The Engagement Manager will act as a strategic partner, understanding client priorities, connecting them with relevant people and programs, and translating collaboration into measurable organizational value.

Requirements

  • Experience managing strategic client relationships in a commercial or account management role
  • A track record of delivering value, driving engagement and supporting revenue growth
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strategic thinking balanced with strong execution and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders across global biopharma
  • Develop and deliver strategic account plans that maximise member engagement, retention and growth
  • Help members identify and communicate the tangible value generated through collaboration
  • Support membership renewals, commercial conversations and cross-Phorum opportunities
  • Capture client feedback and influence the future direction of the Technology Strategy programme
  • Facilitate leadership meetings, member events and strategic discussions
  • Monitor account health, identify opportunities and proactively manage risk
  • Create compelling member communications, value reports and engagement materials
