About The Position
Children’s Medical Group has been providing the highest quality Pediatric care for over 75 years. We are comprised of 3 offices in Atlanta, Johns Creek and Decatur. We are currently seeking a full-time Phone Nurse for our pediatric practice in Downtown Decatur at 125 Clairemont Ave, Decatur, GA 30032. This position is fully on-site/in-person in our office.
Requirements
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Familiarity with computers and other office equipment.
- Basic typing and keyboard skills.
- Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an outpatient primary care environment preferred.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Triage nursing phone calls.
- Scheduling necessary patient appointments.
- Input patient demographics and test result information into record systems.
- Performs additional duties as required.
