Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with reservation and point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
  • Manage reservation systems and maintain an organized waitlist to optimize seating efficiency.
  • Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service flow.
  • Address guest questions, special requests, and resolve any issues to enhance the dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and entrance area.
  • Assist in managing guest traffic during peak hours to minimize wait times.
  • Provide accurate information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
  • Support team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
