Labcorp is seeking Phlebotomy to join our team at 57725 29 Palms Hwy Yucca Valley Ca 92284. Work Schedule: Monday -Friday 7:00 am -3:30 pm, with rotating weekends. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year or more of experience as phlebotomist
• Current or Prior experience at LabCorp

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
