The Phlebotomy Technician is primarily responsible for collecting specimens for laboratory testing in the inpatient setting. Patients may range from newborn through older adults. Team members are assigned to various inpatient units based on volume and are expected to provide timely and accurate service.
Requirements
- 0-2 years' experience required.
- High School/GED required.
- EKG/Phlebotomy Technician certification
Nice To Haves
- Vocational/Technical School preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collecting specimens for laboratory testing in the inpatient setting.
