About The Position

This position is for a PRN Phlebotomy Tech working a PRN Shift from 1 PM to 9:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, including Major and Minor Holidays. The role involves collecting and labeling specimens for testing, maintaining computerized records, and resolving outstanding specimen/collection issues. The technician will practice universal precautions, barrier protection, infection control, and isolation procedures when handling body fluids and other contagia to ensure a safe work environment. Issues, problems, and opportunities will be escalated to the supervisory level for resolution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic medical terminology.
