About The Position

This role focuses on leading the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring every intervention aligns with the highest safety standards and organizational protocols. The Phlebotomy Tech will monitor and communicate real-time patient status to the care team, enabling swift, life-saving clinical decisions. They will coordinate care efforts across multiple specialties, acting as the central hub between hospitalists, cardiologists, and NPs to provide a seamless, high-quality patient experience. The role also involves executing advanced clinical skills and managing the full discharge process.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Certification specializing in Phlebotomy credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) preferred.
Phlebotomy Tech preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring every intervention aligns with the highest safety standards and organizational protocols.
Monitor and communicate real-time patient status to the care team, enabling swift, life-saving clinical decisions.
Coordinate care efforts across multiple specialties, acting as the central hub between hospitalists, cardiologists, and NPs to provide a seamless, high-quality patient experience.
Execute advanced clinical skills, including cardiac drip titration and ACLS protocols, to provide expert-level support for our most high-acuity patients.
Manage the full discharge process, ensuring patients and families transition from the unit with clarity and confidence.
