Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. PAML a Labcorp company is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team in Everett, WA. We are currently seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Requirements

• Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License
• 1 or more years of Phlebotomy experience
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• 6 months experience leading a team in healthcare
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors
• Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs
• Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary
• Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner
• Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers
• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
