About The Position
The Laboratory Services Coordinator coordinates the work performed by Laboratory Support Services staff within the Laboratory, works directly with staff, and oversees their work to accomplish goals. The coordinator assists laboratory leadership in ensuring that the laboratory consistently meets its mission regarding quality and service. The work is varied and calls for a service-oriented individual with organization, prioritization, leadership, good judgment, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
Requirements
- Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) certification or eligibility for MA-P certification.
- Experience as a lead, team coordinator, or supervisor in a laboratory setting.
- At least three years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
