About The Position

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Client Care Specialists (CCS2). This hybrid role involves providing friendly, helpful, and professional support to patients seeking HIV testing, prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment. The CCS2 contributes to AHF's mission by embodying excellence in patient care, retention, and operational efficiency. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives, ensuring AHF's Core Values and Mission remain central to all actions. AHF operates in a dynamic environment, requiring adaptability and a collaborative approach where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The CCS2 will work within a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care, including collecting medical histories, managing tests/screenings, recording vitals, and addressing health complaints. Additionally, the role involves facilitating patient registration, appointment management, and electronic chart creation, with proficiency in data documentation, referrals, and reports.

Requirements

  • A valid phlebotomy license OR a current medical assistant (MA) certificate.
  • Skills in venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specimens, preparing them for laboratory analysis.
  • Ability to travel day to day to various Wellness and Fixed Site locations depending on staffing needs and directed by supervisor.

  • Presenting a friendly, helpful face to patients seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment.
  • Providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to clients within testing programs.
  • Embodying commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability.
  • Seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles.
  • Collecting medical histories.
  • Managing tests/screenings.
  • Recording vitals.

  • Proficiency in data documentation, including referrals and reports.
