About The Position

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the company to patients and collects blood samples for laboratory testing. The role prepares specimens while following established practices and procedures, and involves direct patient contact. The PSR I explains procedures and collects specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately while building patient trust and confidence. The position requires a focus on process excellence and sensitivity to the confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. This is an onsite, three-month contract position in Branford, Connecticut, scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 6 months of experience.
Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal onsite supervision.
Phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
Keyboard and data-entry experience.
Availability and flexibility based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call work, and overtime.
Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; employer visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice To Haves

Medical assistant or paramedic training.
Phlebotomy certification; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
One year of phlebotomy experience.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.
