About The Position

Blood Assurance is the sole provider of blood and blood products in our community, which means you are saving the lives of your friends, family and neighbors. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Phlebotomist to work at our Gunbarrel Facility. The duties of this job include interviewing donors for suitability to donate, mini physicals (blood pressure, pulse, temp., and hemoglobin), and phlebotomy. Also calling a minimum number of donors daily per manager’s instructions.

Requirements

• A high school degree or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills with attention to detail
• A positive, caring attitude
• Scheduling flexibility for a variety of shifts and some overtime and weekends

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy certificate and/or prior phlebotomy experience

Responsibilities
