About The Position
The pay rate is $20.70/hour + $4/hour PRN differential. Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a PRN Phlebotomist to join our team at Pinckneyville Correctional Center located in Pinckneyville, Illinois. The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger stick blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment. Schedule: PRN
Requirements
- Completed a certified phlebotomy training program
- Be a high school graduate or hold a GED
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience working as a Phlebotomist preferred
- Experience working in corrections/behavioral health preferred
