About The Position
Looking for experienced Phlebotomists to perform blood collection and support lab operations in a hospital setting. Focus on accuracy, patient safety, and proper handling of specimens.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience (hospital/lab/blood bank)
- Strong venipuncture skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy training required
- CPT (Phlebotomy Technician) – Required
- AHA BLS – Required
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections
- Collect and handle specimens properly
- Label and transport samples accurately
- Follow patient identification and safety protocols
- Maintain documentation
- Follow infection control guidelines
- Communicate with staff and patients
- Keep work area clean and organized
