This is a Part-time PRN position on the 3rd shift, requiring a minimum of one shift per week, one weekend per month, and one holiday per year after training. The role involves verifying patient identification, assessing patient reactions to specimen procurement, and performing venipuncture and collecting other specimens from patients of all age groups. The phlebotomist will also be responsible for ordering and verifying test requests, documenting information for quality assurance, reviewing reports, and providing assistance with billing and other business functions. Additionally, the role includes instructing employees and students in phlebotomy and data entry, and demonstrating the necessary skills to provide age-appropriate care.
