About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Per Diem to join their team in Robbinsville, NJ. This is a casual/per diem position with hours as needed. The work schedule includes Monday-Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and rotating weekends from 6:30 am to 11:00 am. In this role, you will perform skilled specimen collections and provide exceptional customer service, acting as the face of the company. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
