About The Position

The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices. Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on exceptional patient experience and quality service and outcomes. The Phlebotomist is required to comply with all OSHA and regulatory requirements including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment [PPE]. We take great care of careers. Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Other experience and training that will support minimum on-the-job training to perform the above duties
  • Keyboarding/data entry experience
  • Knowledge of venipuncture techniques
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
  • Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to handle different patient population including difficult patients.
  • Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills
