About The Position

All Sites: Reception and Telephone duties & proficient operation laboratory equipment including HIS/LIS systems; specimen handling: receiving and processing; prep & shipping of lab specimens for at Reference Laboratories; specimen/patient registration; phlebotomy - collection of blood samples by venipuncture or capillary stick; therapeutic blood collection; swab collection of specific Micro samples (per competency); assignment to OP Lab locations; training new staff as assigned. Requirements

  • Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification
  • 6 months Direct experience as a phlebotomist and/or completion of a Phlebotomy program

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy training Program/Course approved by WA State
