About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a part time Phlebotomist to join our team at Western Illinois Correctional Center located in Mount Sterling, Illinois. The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger stick blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Completed a certified phlebotomy training program
• Be a high school graduate or hold a GED
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience working as a Phlebotomist
• Experience working in corrections/behavioral health
