Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Sparks, NV at 1311 North McCarran Boulevard, Sparks, NV 89431. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed. At Labcorp, we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Requirements

Nevada state issued laboratory assistant license
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

3 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist
In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a lab assistant license filed with the NV Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
