About The Position

Ramp Health is a leader in preventative healthcare, providing comprehensive biometric screenings since 2002. They partner with organizations to offer convenient health assessments. This PRN (as needed) Phlebotomist role involves flexible scheduling and diverse work environments, allowing individuals to directly impact people's health journeys. The company offers essential health screening services including biometric screenings (height, weight, waist measurements, body fat percentage, blood pressure), fingerstick events (blood samples with biometric screening), and venipuncture events (blood draws with biometric screening). At all events, skilled phlebotomists are prioritized. Roles may include participant registration, biometric screening, or blood drawing. Onsite training is provided for event flow, CardioChek+ machines, and A1cNow cartridge testing. Staff are responsible for setting up and taking down equipment and supplies under senior staff guidance. A solid black scrub dress code and closed-toe shoes are required. Paid pre-event virtual training is conducted via Microsoft Teams.

Requirements

  • Current Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification or equivalent
  • Valid state licensure where required
  • Proven expertise in blood collection techniques and biometric measurements
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that put patients at ease
  • Strong organizational abilities and detail-orientation
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a cohesive team
  • Strong technology skills and comfort using iPads for data entry
  • Reliable transportation for travel between screening locations
  • Must be 18+ years of age.

  • Travel to various client locations, bringing essential healthcare services directly to those who need them.
  • Set up and take-down of all equipment and supplies under the guidance of experienced senior staff.
