About The Position

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to become part of our expanding team in our lab! Working 28 hours per week! Baylor Program: Saturday: 7:00AM-7:30PM, Sundays: 8:00AM-8:30PM, One day/PM 8.5-hour shift during the week. The Phlebotomist initiates specimen collection for the acquisition of blood or body fluids to perform necessary laboratory testing. He/she processes and distributes these specimens to other personnel for the testing process and performs uncomplicated testing procedures, as directed by the position description.

Requirements

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program at an accredited school or documentation of equivalent college courses, “or” Completion of an accredited six (6) week phlebotomy program, "or" A high school diploma with emphasis on science and a willingness to learn the necessary skills during a minimum 6-week period under direct Medical Technologist supervision.
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities
