About The Position
The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a reputed hospital in Manchester, TN, and we are looking to hire dependable Phlebotomist to join their laboratory team. In this role, you will collect and process patient specimens to support accurate laboratory testing for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Requirements
- Current Tennessee phlebotomy certification required
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical staff
- Detail -oriented with strong organizational and time -management skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to high -quality patient care
Responsibilities
- Collect blood and other specimens safely and accurately from patients of all ages
- Label, document, and prepare specimens for testing (name, date, time & location)
- Complete routine and STAT lab order collections in a timely manner
- Obtain patient consent when required for procedures
- File & deliver laboratory reports to appropriate departments & support daily lab operations
- Monitor, replace, and maintain phlebotomy supplies and inventory across hospital departments
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance standards
- Provide excellent patient service and communication
