About The Position

Join IVI-RMA in Littleton, CO and make a meaningful impact on patients' fertility journeys. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection, support laboratory procedures, and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced fertility clinic environment. This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Requirements

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program – highly preferred
• 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - required
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - required

Responsibilities

• Properly identifies patients.
• Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
• Stores and transports specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
• Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
• Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.
