This involves performing venipuncture, monitoring the pheresis process, and adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines. The role requires evaluating vein performance, troubleshooting equipment failures, and ensuring accurate data recording in the electronic donor information management system. Additionally, the Phlebotomist must maintain a clean and safe work environment, uphold confidentiality, and may be involved in educating new donors about the process and products. Bilingual skills may be required to meet business needs.
